Ever have the feeling that you’re just being poked – No, not by any external things, but by your beard? This feeling is particularly common with new growth – small, razor sharp follicles pierce the skin mercilessly.
No pain, no gain. Even long time beard goalkeepers experience itching, scratching or dry skin.
First – The trick is, whether you are a veteran or a newbie, to value the beard. Treat it at least as importantly as you’d the hair on your head. So there are a few steps called for here.
Second – when you get out of the shower, use a comb with small teeth to brush your beard hair downwards while it is still wet. Make sure dress it nicely, and to eliminate tangles.
Thirdly – apply an oil or a conditioner – if you have something specially formulated for beards, all the better, and work it equally into your facial hair.
Fourth – resist the urge to scratch at your beard like it’s the world’s most itchy place. Learn to discount or use a soft fabric instead of digging your nails into it to care for your itch.
Fifth – relax – your beard can grow naturally and readily, you do not need to look after it every second. Every other day is a great schedule. Don’t over-brush, do not over do it. Take it easy.
And don’t forget to use your facial hair growth products to keep your beard healthy and full.
